Real life takes over
I've never much believed that there's much difference between 'real life' and 'internet life', but one difference there is -- 'internet life' isn't necessary real-time, and 'real life' is, and that means it can interrupt anything ongoing.
My mother had been seriously ill for years, but a few weeks ago she became confined to bed, and Holy Thursday 2004, she died.
I don't have the slightest desire to say more about this, since this is not exactly a public matter, but it explains why I haven't updated Fading Memories, worked on Krita, on Kura, sent out books, submitted novels, worked on the novel or, even, for that matter, gone to my day job. I'm now trying to pick up the threads, and I'm finding it surprisingly hard.
